Stay Raw After Raw Food For Weight Loss - Part 2

If you are eating raw food for weight loss you may want a little company. Your friends and family are probably curious and have questions about your new lifestyle, especially when they see how healthy you are. Maybe you have a friend who wants to eat raw food for weight loss too. So if they are ready, start sharing your new lifestyle with your family and friends.
Get some exercise. For some people working out every day is like breathing; for others its torture. For those who don't adapt to rigorous workouts, a 30-minute walk three or four times a week is more exercise than you're probably getting now and a good way to get started. You can also take stairs instead of elevators, park far from the entrance when shopping and take your dog out for an extra walk every evening.
When the weather it nice, eating in the sun can be quite relaxing. Have a big bowl of mixed fresh fruits while relaxing on the patio for lunch or dinner.
Check the ingredients listed on the label of the processed foods you buy. If you don't avoid all processed foods, avoid those containing hydrogenated oil, fructose, enriched flour, bleached flour, more than 4 grams of saturated fat and/or more than 4 grams of sugar. Can you imagine what would happen to the corporations that provide processed foods if 50 percent of the people in the world went raw? Maybe we'll find out some day.
Drink homemade fresh fruit and vegetable juice. If you have problems with your blood sugar, dilute your fruit juice with purified water. You don't have to waste money on bottled water (most bottled water is tap water anyway); invest in a purification system or a filtering system.
No matter what you eat, have a big green salad at least once every day.
If you have the space, start a small garden. You'll get fresh produce; you'll get some exercise; you'll save some money. How engaging is that?
Get extra protein from eating raw seeds and nuts.
Try to procrastinate when it comes to cravings. Put it off until tomorrow. If you're still having the craving, go ahead and satisfy it. Remember to eat just enough to satisfy the craving.
If you're planning to go 100 percent raw, set a date to make that accomplishment and gradually eliminate non-raw foods from your diet. If, at any time you find yourself experiencing fatigue or lightheadedness, evaluate the changes you've made recently and fine tune your diet if necessary.
Mix and match your vegetables. Experiment and make new and exciting salads. Make salads consisting of both fruits and vegetables sprinkled with chopped dates or nuts.
You may want to visit a raw food restaurant, taste some of the dishes; check out the menu. You can get many ideas from the menu; ideas that can enable you to create your own dishes.
Even though you are eating raw food for weight loss you will need to get at least 20 minutes of exercise three or four times a week. Not only will exercise help you to lose weight, it'll build muscle and speed up your metabolism.
