MIC Injections and Their Role in Weight Management

By Ollie Anerson

L-Methionine, Inositol and Choline are the basis for the acronym called: MIC. These are lipotrophic agents which help with the breakdown of fat during metabolism in the body.

As part of a successful hCG Protocol, physicians add MIC injections as a therapy to augment a patient's weight loss experience. The liver is assisted by the lipotrophic injections to take fat out, as hCG does release fat into the body. Additional injections which compliment the MIC are sometimes added like B6, and B12, or other compounds like Cyanocobalamin, which in pairing with MIC, work together to enhance the hCG program.

There are 8 essential amino acids which the body can not produce, but consist of the building blocks of proteins, one of which is L-Methionine. L-Methionine is not only used as a supplement by injection or ingestion, it is also found in many vegetables like potatoes and spinach, dairy products and meats, and sesame seeds and Brazil nuts. Vegetarians are routinely recommended to use L-Methionine to supplement their diet, as well as patients with liver disease are advised to take it.

For weight management, L- Methionine helps the body process and eliminate fat. Toxins are eliminated from the body by cysteine and taurine, which L-Methionine is helpful in the production of.

Not determined to be a sugar, inositol is a carbohydrate that was thought of as a part of the vitamin B complex family, but is not a traditional vitamin since the body can synthesize it. This is also found in peanuts, kidney beans, but it is mainly found in fruits like oranges, bananas, and cantaloupe.

When inositol is used at the same time as other B complex vitamins breaks down fat, but when utilized with compounds in a MIC injection, most notably choline, lecithin is formed, and that is considered to help fat metabolize during weight management.

One essential nutrient that the body does produce in the liver is choline, but the problem is the amount is not great enough for the needs of many. Like inositol, it is often grouped within the B complex of vitamins, although it is not a true B vitamin. The liver, kidneys, and gallbladder require choline in their regulation processes.

A methyl donor that assists detoxification in the liver during weight reduction, choline is highly important to in the function of fat metabolizing.

Two great sources to get choline is from foods like soybeans and eggs, but it is also found in beef liver, tofu, cauliflower, and almonds.

Interestingly, the components of a MIC injection, especially inositol and choline, have been found to improve mental function, improve feelings of depression, and as part of a successful hCG Protocol, MIC injections are typically given weekly for the duration of the program.
