Athletics is a type of sport admired by many individuals. There are many events that people compete for during the athletics competition. The rewards offered to the winners make this type of sport very interesting. During triathlon around three consecutive events are competed for. In most cases they include running, swimming and cycling. Triathlon training helps build up enough energy and gain the required experience that can improve the performance during the competition.

Swimming in many cases is performed as the first event during the competition. The event is in normal cases done in open waters such as rivers and lakes. One needs to be a good swimmer because at times the water is very deep and resting period may be limited. The buoyancy is at times contributed by the type of the clothing one wears during competition day. Swim suits are the most appropriate because one is also able to tolerate the changing water temperatures.

The cycling forms the longest sport compared to the others. This means that enough preparation is required to make the feet endure the fatigue. Before commencing always ensure that the bicycle is set in the correct manner and it is mechanically prepared. The pedals that are clip less are the best ones, so as to ensure fast cycling. Always remember to carry drinking water with you.

Running is actually the next event to be performed. This means that the participants are very tired after going through the other events. In most cases the one who has done the most appropriate practice wins. The experience is also an important factor that is required for one to win. Ensure that you develop the speed that is best for you with which you can complete the race. Feed on a good diet during training.

Muscles develop the right enduring power which is very important in order to put up with the fatigue. As a result of training the muscles that are developed makes the body hard and therefore reducing the chances of being injured during the competition. They also cover delicate rejoins such as the joints hence the chances of the injury occurring are very minimal.

For a good performance right posture is important much straining is reduced. This occurs when the muscles are in good form. Fatigue occurs when the muscles are broken down during the vigorous activity. When the there are many fibers due to a lot of training they reduce the rate of muscle breakdown thus minimizing the rate at which the fatigue comes.

The efficiency of an individual plays an important role for one to win race. This is developed through well planned practice. There is equipment that one must have to consider him or herself as a participant. One should have, goggle, swim suit, running shoes, water bottle, pedals that are clip less bicycle and also cycling short.

When preparing the training schedule remember to include the resting period. This is because no matter how much training is required one needs to rest to allow the body performs other important functions. Once all the training is done and the date is approaching, then one ought to prepare mentally.
